Ufuq Rasikh Capital B.S.C. ("URC", "we", "our" or "us") is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, process, share, retain and protect your data in compliance with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and international best practice.

This notice applies to clients and prospective clients (including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions), representatives of institutional clients, website visitors and event attendees, and any individual whose personal data is provided in the course of our relationship.

We collect only what is essential to deliver our services: identity and contact data (name, date of birth, nationality, ID or passport, photograph, address, phone, email); financial and investment data (bank details, portfolio data, tax identifiers, statements); business and legal data (company affiliations, trust instruments, legal documentation); compliance data (KYC/AML records, sanctions screening, regulatory disclosures); and technical data (IP address, device and browser metadata, non-marketing cookies).

We use your data for client onboarding and KYC/AML (on the basis of legal compliance and consent); for wealth and advisory services, client reporting and secure messaging (on the basis of contractual necessity and legitimate interest); for risk management and compliance (on the basis of legal compliance and legitimate interest); to improve service delivery (on the basis of legitimate interest); and for marketing, only where you have given consent.

We may share your data with Bahraini regulators (such as the Central Bank of Bahrain and the tax authority), professional advisors (legal, audit, tax), custodian banks and investment partners, technology providers supporting our data infrastructure, and joint-venture partners under strict confidentiality terms. We do not sell, trade or rent your information.

Where data is transferred abroad, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards, ensure transfers comply with the PDPL and applicable global privacy standards, and keep all such transfers encrypted and monitored.

We retain data only as necessary: for the duration of our services or relationship, and thereafter for as long as required to meet legal obligations such as audit or tax records. Data is securely deleted or anonymised once it is no longer required.

We protect your data through bank-grade encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication, regular cybersecurity assessments and employee training, and physical security for our offices and data infrastructure.

You may request to access and obtain your personal data; rectify incorrect or incomplete data; request erasure where the data is not legally retained; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; request data portability; and file a complaint or seek compensation. URC will respond to rights requests within 30 days, as required by the Bahraini PDPL.
